    High Protein Matcha Latte 🍵💚👊

    Such an easy recipe, yet so powerful and delicious! 

    It's very difficult to meet your daily nutrient needs without compromising your calorie intake or the taste of your meals, not to mention how hard it is for you to find all those nutrients together in one convenient whole food.

    Picture this: you set specific fitness goals, you're trying to stick to a certain diet, but you're not seeing the results you want. What do you do? You'll often find yourself grabbing supplements and not knowing what's in them. What's more.. you don't know what to do with them. Chances are you'll choose to pour some water, shake it, chug it and just hope for the best. Does that sound familiar?

    With that in mind, we created a Supplement that:

    Ingredients:

    - 1 cup of heated unsweetened plant-based milk 
    - 1 scoop of Sun Pyramid Health raw vegan vanilla protein powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon of Matcha powder

    Process:

    Simply blend all the ingredients together until well combined, and enjoy!

    Vegan Wheatgrass Crepes

    Vegan Wheatgrass Crepes

    Vegan Wheatgrass Crepes filled with figs/mangoes & coconut yogurt, drizzled with chocolate sauce & topped with toasted almonds.

    Anyone here ever makes crepes? Not the easiest let me tell you! It took me two tries to get it even remotely right. Haven't perfected it yet but they were tasty and absolutely worth sharing.

    Why wheatgrass?

    It tastes a bit like Matcha, but it comes with a different and wide range of benefits, and it gives your recipes a boost of vibrant energy and green fun!

    Wheatgrass contains a large amount of chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals, and has very few calories and carbohydrates. Plus, it has tons of antioxidants, 17 different amino acids, and comes ready to purify your body like you never knew possible.

    As a superfood, it's recommended to take 3 ounces a day.

    Let’s get down to business now.

    Ingredients: 


    🌱¼ cup oat flour.
    🌱¼ cup buckwheat flour.
    🌱2 tbsp coconut sugar (or dates or any sweetener of choice).
    🌱1 heaping tsp Sun Pyramid Health Wheatgrass Powder
    🌱⅓ cup almond milk.
    🌱¼ tsp vanilla extract.  
    🌱⅓ cup water.
    🌱Dash sea salt.
    🌱Coconut yogurt or coconut cream.

    🌱Almonds or pistachios to garnish.

    Instructions: 

    🌱 Mix together the flours, coconut sugar & wheatgrass powder.

    🌱 Add the almond milk, vanilla extract, water, and blend. I added this mix in my (ninja/nutribullet). The batter should be thin and easily pourable. If it seems too thick, add some more water.
    🌱 Heat up a nonstick pan over medium heat.
    🌱 Once hot, use a 1/4 measuring cup to pour batter and quickly pick up the pan and tilt in circles to spread the batter into a thin crepe.
    🌱 Cook until browned - about 2 minutes. Gently flip and cook for an additional 45 seconds (this part was hard, some of them fell apart) 
    🌱 Remove and set on a plate. Then continue with the rest of the batter.
    🌱 Once they're all finished cooking, fill with a dollop of coconut yogurt & sliced figs or mangoes (or any other fruit of choice), then fold up.
    🌱 Top with chocolate sauce & almonds. Should render 4 crepes.
