    October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're seeing pink everywhere. Research has shown that eating fruits and veggies has been associated with a lower breast cancer risk, thanks to their high content of carotenoids, anthocyanins, antioxidants, phenolic compounds, and other nutrients. It has been shown that a good diet that strengthens your immune system can prevent breast cancer or any other type of cancer. If you are currently fighting cancer a good diet is also a game changer in your recovery.

    Ingredients:

    • Frozen dragon fruit
    • Frozen raspberries
    • Coconut water, collagen
    • Sun Pyramid Health’s Vanilla Protein powder
    • Maca powder
    • Flax oil
    • Polka dots (blue Majik, coconut cream, nutritional yeast, lime, maple syrup)
    • Unsweetened granola or any topping you like

    Just blend all the ingredients together and serve, this smoothie bowl is filled with vitamins and is vegan and absolutely delicious!

    Chocolate Chia Pudding & Peanut Butter Parfait

    Chocolate Chia pudding & peanut butter parfait anyone? It's time to treat yourself! To satisfy that sweet craving why not make it a healthy one? This parfait is not only nutritious but also super delish and easy to make. It is raw vegan, healthy and delicious! 

    Chocolate chia pudding:
    🌱 3 Tbsp.  Chia seeds from Sun Pyramid Health
    🌱 ½ cup chocolate almond milk
    (let sit overnight or for at least 20 minutes in refrigerator)

    Peanut butter layer:
    🌱 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
    🌱 ¼ cup soaked cashews (in water overnight or for 3 hours)
    🌱 2 t Tbsp.  Almond milk
    🌱 1 Tsp. Maca powder 
    🌱 ½ banana
    🌱 1 tsp xylitol
    🌱 2 ice cubes

    In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth; if too thick you can add a tiny bit more almond milk. But careful not to make it too runny.

    Serve with the raspberries or berries of choice. I topped with chopped Sun Pyramid Health Cocoa Beans for a little crunch. Enjoy!

My favorite way to eat chia seeds is to make chia seed pudding and as of late my favorite variety is this peanut butter and chocolate chia seed parfait!

    Tofu Raspberry Nice Cream

    Tofu Raspberry Nice Cream

    What better way to be nice to yourself that with nice cream? Nice cream is like ice cream but contains only healthy ingredients and it can actually be enjoyed without guilt.

    Why Tofu? Silken Tofu makes the nice cream creamier it has a softer, more custard like texture than regular tofu so it works perfectly for ice cream.

    This is a really protein-packed meal, and it’s full of vitamins and minerals thanks to the fruit and healthy toppings.

    Ingredients:

    🍓 1 cup frozen raspberries

    🍓 2 frozen bananas

    🍓 1-2 tbsp soy milk

    🍓 ½ block of silken tofu (170 grams)

    🍓 1 scoop of Sun Pyramid Health Protein Powder

    🍓 1 tbsp of Sun Pyramid Health Hemp Seeds

    🍓 Garnish with granola, cherries, and bananas

     

    Instructions:

    🍓 Thaw the fruit and berries for 10 minutes (this makes the mixing a lot easier).

    🍓 Add all the ingredients into a food processor (or high-speed blender) and pulse. After 10 pulses or so you should be able to switch to the highest setting and then blend until smooth. Do not overmix! Use the non-dairy milk to adjust the consistency.

    🍓 Add to a serving bowl and garnish with granola, cherries, and bananas!

    * This recipe is vegan, gluten free, low fat and low carb!

    Unicorn Smoothie with Nice Cream

    The unicorn trend is everywhere nowadays. In our clothes, hair, accessories and now even in our food! We didn't want to fall behind that's why we brought this delicious and easy recipe for you to try. It is vegan of course and extremely healthy. As always this smoothie is very easy to make, filled with vitamins and nutrients and super yummy. 

     

    Ingredients: 

    🌱1/2 Dragon fruit.
    🌱2 Frozen bananas.

    🌱2 Tbsp Sun Pyramid's Chia Seeds.
    🌱1/2 cup coconut milk.
    🌱1 tsp Xylitol.

    🌱2 frozen bananas.
    🌱1 tsp Sun Pyramid's Wheatgrass Powder
    🌱1/4 Tsp blue majik.

    Blend each layer separately. Let chia seeds sit in milk overnight in the refrigerator.

    Topped with hemp seed hearts for a little crunch
